What do I need for costume registration?
Personal Information (i.e. Full Name, DOB, Email, Contact Number + Area Code, Meal +Drink Preferences), Bra/Underwear Sizes, Underwear Styles & Tank/T-shirt/Pants Sizes.
IMPORTANT
Our costumes are produced via a US conversion chart. Please ensure sizing submitted follows this chart and is applicable to bras, bottoms and tanks/tees.

How much is the registration deposit?
Deposits are 30% of your total order. Always register through the Luv Lux website and registration form to ensure your registration is valid and to keep track of your costume payments.

When is the registration deadline?
You have until a section is sold out to register. However, all sections will be closed on 20th February 2025. No exceptions!
We only allow a limited number of registrations to maintain a high quality service. Therefore, you are advised to register as soon as possible.

When do I need to pay for my costume?
Your deposit must be paid upon registration. After the first deposit is paid, you will be expected to pay monthly installments thereafter, either via the website, payment link, or in person at mas camp.
You may pay for your costume in full if you wish to do so.
The costumes must be paid in full by 31st March 2025. Any unpaid costumes thereafter will be subject to resale and any payments made towards the costume will be forfeited.

When & where do I collect my costume?
The costume distribution location and schedule will be emailed to all masqueraders, posted on the Luv Lux website, and advertised on social media.
Each section will have their allocated distribution dates and times. VIP deliveries will be organised individually.
Please contact us ASAP if you are unable to collect your costume on your allocated day. We'll try our best to accommodate where possible.

Any uncollected costumes without prior arrangements or advance notifications will be subject to resale. Deposits and payments made towards uncollected costumes WILL NOT be refunded.
Can someone collect my costume on my behalf?
​Yes, please send us an email if you cannot collect your costume in person. Please ensure to include the person's full name, number and a copy of their ID in your email.
Anyone collecting a costume, whether for yourself or someone else, must present a valid form of photo ID at the time of collection.
What can I expect on distribution day?
You will be expected to check in upon entry and wait to receive your package. Your costume package contains your body wear, accessories, head piece, physical add-ons & backpiece (if ordered) along with your Goodie Bag filled with carnival essentials and your wristband.

You can also expect a few fun surprises and opportunities to buy additional carnival goodies on the day.

Your costume is not complete without a wristband and masqueraders not wearing their wristband will be removed from the band.
Help, My costume does not fit!
Don't panic! We have a seamstress on-site during distribution. You're welcome to make use of our complimentary alteration services.
However, we can only assist in minor alteration requests. We are unable to assist if you submitted the wrong sizing upon registration. Masqueraders are responsible for selecting the right sizes for their costumes and/or provide custom sizing information. Please ensure you use our sizing guides as a reference.
What does an all-inclusive package include?

Does LUV LUX provide DAY 2 wear?
The beauty of St Maarten/SXM carnival is that you get to do "pretty mas" twice! As per local tradition, most masqueraders re-wear their DAY 1 costume on DAY 2 and either choose to include their back piece or wear their body wear and accessories only.

Some of you may want to switch it up for DAY 2 and, in that case, you are encouraged to buy a body wear only option for DAY 2 after initial registration as an add-on. Please email us if you wish to do so.
Your DAY 2 body wear will be included in your box on your DAY 1 costume allocated distribution day. Please ensure you wear your wristband on both days.
Why do I need to wear a wristband if I wear a LUV LUX costume?
Your wristband identifies you as a LUV LUX MAS masquerader and provides you will all the amenities covered under your premium or VIP package. To manage safety and customer service on the road, masqueraders without a valid wristband will not be permitted to be with us on the road. Please keep the band secure and wear your wristband as instructed during DAY 1 & DAY 2.
Can I wear an "individual" or custom design costume with LUV LUX?
You are welcome to purchase a custom design or individual costume via our in-house costume designers. The cost of this starts from $2,500 USD and includes VIP amenities. Please email us your mood board, ideas, and approximate budget if you're interested. We will not accept any individual requests after 31st January 2025.
Can my friend/partner/child jump in the band with me?
LUV LUX MAS only allows paying masqueraders to jump in the band. Non- masqueraders may observe from the sidelines outside the band but will not be allowed to participate and will be escorted to the sidelines if they are found inside of the band.

LUV LUX MAS is an adults-only band at present and does not have a children section. Therefore, underage children are not permitted in the band.
